Academic Competitions
Students have the opportunity to participate in contests designed to spark student interest in the subjects. A school level winner will be determined for each contest and move on to the next level of competition. Prizes are awarded for each first place winner, along with participation certificates for all students.

Spelling Contest

​Logos would like to invite interested K-12 students to participate in our 2013 spelling competition. Unlike a normal spelling bee our spelling competition will require that students write their answers. Students participate in one of three divisions. The winner of each division will advance to their division specific district level competition.

Division I - Grades 1-5
Division 2 - Grades 6-8
Division 3 - Grades 9-12

Date: Tuesday, April 2nd, 2013
Time: 3:00-4:00 p.m.
Location: Logos Public Charter School, Room #15

Winners will advance to their division-specific district level competition:

Division I - Wednesday, April 10th, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. at Jefferson Elementary School
Division 2 - Friday, April 19th, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. at McLoughlin Middle School
Division 3 - Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013. Students will have the choice of attending the competition at South Medford High School at 2:41 p.m. or at North Medford High School which begins at 2:42 p.m.

Winners of the district level competition will advance to the Southern Oregon Competition that will be held on Saturday, May 11th, 2013 from 9:30-12:00 p.m. at Southern Oregon University.

Winners of the Southern Oregon Competition will advance on to the state level competition on Saturday, August 31st, 2013 in Salem, Oregon.
